Shoulder Shrugs - Barbell
Bend your knees and keep your back straight to pick up the barbell making sure you hold it with your palms facing you. Stand with your feet hip width apart and a slight bend in your knees. Hold the bar in front of you with your hands shoulder width apart.
Remember to keep good posture throughout the exercise (tummy tight; shoulders back; chest out; chin in) and slowly shrug/raise your shoulders upwards as far as you can and then slowly lower again avoiding to rest in between repetitions or arching your back to aid the movement.
