Shoulder Press - Swissball

Sitting on the Swissball keep your back upright and chest up. Bring the weights up and out to the side so that your elbows are at shoulder height and your forearms are vertical.

Now push the weights straight up and in an arc so that they meet above your head. On the way back down allow your elbows to go out to the side and return to the starting position. Stop when your elbows are inline with your shoulders.


Do's Don'ts
  • Do keep your stomach tight to maintain good posture
  • Do breathe out on the way up and in on the way down
  • Do use a mirror to check technique
  • Do get heavy weights passed to you when your in the starting position
  • Don't hold your breath
  • Don't arch your back
  • Don't do this exercise if you have high blood pressure
  • Don't slouch on the ball
