Calf Raises - Body Weight

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and facing forwards.

Now go up on your tip-toes in a nice slow controlled manner, once you are as high as you can go, slowly lower yourself back down again.

Just before your heels touch the ground go back up onto your tip-toes.


Do's Don'ts
  • Do stand upright
  • Do move slowly and in a controlled manner
  • Do keep your feet in line
  • Do have your feet shoulder-width apart
  • Don't hold your breath
  • Don't turn your feet outwards
  • Don't lock your knees
  • Don't touch your heels on the ground during the exercise
