Bicep Curl - Barbell

Standing with your feet hip width apart, keeping your knees slightly bent and maintaining good posture (tummy tight; shoulders back; chest out; chin in). Now bend your knees to pick up the barbell (keeping your back straight). Hold it with your hands shoulder width apart and your palms facing forwards.

Bring your arms up and in towards your body by bending them at the elbow, keeping your elbows tucked into your sides. Once you are as far as you can go slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position.

Make sure with this exercise that you don\'t allow your elbows to come forwards or allow your shoulders to do some of the work.
